Danes go missing after crash

Two Great Danes have gone missing after an elderly woman on her way home from a dog show crashed her car.

The accident happened on the northbound carriageway of the M11, between junctions 10 and 11 in Cambridgeshire, on Sunday. The woman was not injured.

The 11-month-old jet black dogs were uninjured but ran from the scene of the crash and are still missing.

Police said the dogs, named Zalok and Zoe, were last seen heading towards Thriplow. A thorough search failed to find them.

Pc Jane Allen, from Sawston traffic base, said: "The woman involved in this crash was obviously very distressed to lose the dogs."
