DORWEST HERBS are delighted to announce that six intrepid company members are going all out this autumn in a bid to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind by competing in the Coniston Challenge in the Lake District on 2nd September.

The challenge consists of hiking (or maybe crawling) to the summit of the
'old man of Coniston', then a 12 mile bike ride through Grizedale Forest then to top it all off canoe a course on Coniston Water for a few miles - all in under 10hours!

The Dorwest Team need to raise at least £2500 in total so any support readers can give will be much appreciated: just the price of a few pints can help train and care for a guide dog for a day and make a real difference to people with impaired sight.
