Cheryl and devoted Canine Partner Orca

Karen Menter, organiser of the Southern Golden Retriever Society Display Team, received a surprise from her team-mates last week when a model of a Golden Retriever and a bracelet in team colours were presented to Karen as a thank you from the team together with a bone for her dog, Megan.

Team member, Ted Budden said: "We have had a fantastic 12 months, culminating in a performance in the Main Ring on Best in Show evening at Crufts and being featured on the BBC’s Crufts coverage. None of this would have been possible without Karen who choreographs our routines, trains us, liaises with the Kennel Club, the BBC and other event organisers, finds hotels, books them AND works her dog in the team. We’d be lost without her."
