Summer spectacular for Sussex
Sussex Country Fair is one of the most popular shows in the southeast, and for 2006 the show has a new date, and will now be held on 17th & 18th June at Parham Park, West Sussex.
Set against a backdrop of Elizabethan splendour, Sussex Country Fair offers superb field sports events for all ages and abilities. Clay shooters will be making the most of their last chance to qualify for the Mitsubishi Motors World Series 2006, and be in with a chance of winning that Mitsubishi L200 Warrior. With Graham Brown of Purbeck Shooting School building the courses, shooters can look forward to ingenious and testing layouts that will put them through their paces.
Parham offers spectacular ground for the Countryman Fairs’ gundog scurries, supported by Runnarköp. The vast, rolling heath land of the estate has hidden ditches and natural features that provide plenty of unexpected challenges for both dog and handler. Runnarköp offer clothing prizes for 1st-3rd in each event on each day, together with outstanding prize draw opportunities for all entrants. Young gundog handlers can take part in the Lintran Young Handler Championship qualifier, to secure their places for the Midland Game Fair Grand Final.
Excellent trade stands offerings everything for the home and garden provide perfect retail therapy, and there are family features to keep the kids happy all day including craft workshops, magicians and a vintage fun fair.
