THE POPULAR Wag & Bone Show was held last Saturday at Windsor Great Park, just a stone’s throw from Windsor Castle – and what better venue could anyone hope for a right royal canine extravaganza?
This year’s show – the fourth – organised by Dogs Today magazine was another great success, with thousands of dogs and their owners flocking to the Great Park for a fun-filled day for four-legged and two-legged visitors alike.
As well as the many trade, charity and information stands, there were amusements, refreshments galore – there was a run on ice-cold Pimms – and a whole host of events in the various rings and arenas dotted throughout the show. One of the highlights was another attempt at breaking the world record for the largest single ‘Sit’.
All in all, a great day was had by all, with plenty to entertain and amuse the whole family.
A full photo-report of the Wag & Bone Show 2006 will appear in next week’s OUR DOGS.
