Dogs and dog lovers are in for a real treat on Saturday 2 September, as Dogs Trust Ballymena Rehoming Centre hosts its annual Open Day.

The gates will open at 12noon at the Rehoming Centre based at 60 Teeshan Road, Ballymena, Co Antrim. It’s just £1 for adults, while kids and dogs go free!

Highlights of the day include a Fun Dog Show, bouncy castle, craft and gift stalls as well as a doggie dash and a pooch parade - fantastic fun for all of the family! There will also be dog microchipping and the first 10 dogs can get microchipped for free. People who have rehomed a dog from the Rehoming Centre in the past are also encouraged to bring along their dog – a great opportunity for Dogs Trust staff to see how their old friends are getting on in their new homes.
