Saddam’s dog ‘to live in UK’

A GREAT DANE thought to belong to the son of former Iraq dictator, Saddam Hussien has arrived in England and is now looking for a new home.

Willem van der Waal, who is a former soldier and prison officer, rescued the dog, Rocky, believed to have belonged to Uday, from being tormented and stoned by local children outside of one of Saddam Hussein's former palaces. The dog has since been dubbed 'Scooby'.

Scooby is now being quarantined and it is hoped that a new home can be found for him soon.
