AN AIREDALE Terrier was punched in the head whilst out walking with her owner in Hertfordshire last week.

The unprovoked attack is believed to have been carried out by a resident of a nearby mental health rehabilitation unit. The owner of the dog, who was also verbally abused by the man, decided not to press charges.
