Collie walks 20 miles home

A collie that went missing on a trip back from town, has found his way home to his owners - 20 miles away.

Two-year-old Duke from Boylestone was taken to Derby cattle market by his owner, Katherine Riordan, but disappeared after apparently jumping out of a trailer as they stopped on the way home.

After seven hours of phone calls to animal rescue centres and police, Duke walked back into the family's farm, 20 miles from where was last seen.

The family still has no idea how Duke managed to find his way home but will be keeping a closer eye on him in future!
