A DERBYSHIRE Sheep Dog Trials organisation have recently raised £1,790 for Macmillan Cancer Relief.

The Peak Forest Trials, organised by Dorothy Gregory and Edith Longman, are a local favourite for locals and businesses to offer raffle prizes, sponsorship and support.

Dorothy said: "This year we supported Macmillan Cancer Relief because we know so many people who have sadly needed the help and support of the charity."

Macmillan Community Fundraiser Sarah Teale added: "A big thank you goes out to Peak Forest Sheep Dog Trials and in particular Dorothy and Edith for all their hard work in organising the trials.

We are thrilled to be receiving such a big cheque."
