At Bonham’s New York Dogs in Art sale on February 14th, a new world record was achieved for a painting by the British artist, John Emms (1843-1912).

Lot No: 186 (above) titled ‘New Forest Foxhounds’ was painted
by Emms in 1898. Measuring a massive 41” x 62” (104 x 157.5 cm.)
it sold for a total of $843.250 including buyer’s premium and tax.
