Search-and-rescue dog reunited with owner

A dog being trained to work in search-and-rescue which was stolen in Norwich has been reunited with its owner.

One-year-old white German Shepherd Taz was taken from a parked Ford van in Stacey Road, Norwich, on December 27, with the thief even taking her lead.

Owner Chris Bond, 40, of Thorpe, near Norwich, has been training her to work with Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue unit for the last four to five months.

Taz was found after being dumped outside the Whalebone pub in the city's Magdalen Road.
