A phone call from her son told me the sad news of the death of Maggie Tripptree of the Brambletyne Golden Retrievers, early last week.

Unfortunately she had a fall and was found dead. My sincere sympathy to Peter, Antony and their families. This is a great loss to me also, as Fred, Maggie and I had been friends since the 50s, and had many happy times together over the years.

I had the pleasure of giving a CC to their first Champion - Miss Rebecca. Amongst the many Brambletyne winners they also bred Ch.Bramletyne Boyd, and later bought Ch.Brambletyne Carrockfell of Darrock from Mrs. Ackroyd.

As well as showing the the dogs, they were all worked on various Buckinghamshire shoots.
