On Sunday 19th November 2006 Pets As Therapy will be holding their second ‘Celebration of Top Dogs’ to take place in the wonderful surroundings of The Palace Hotel, Buxton, Derbyshire.
This year’s event will be of similar format to last year. Guest will be welcomed with coffee and tea, prior to the first part of the programme; the announcing of 2006 P.A.T. Dog of the Year 2006. Voting for this is now underway, and the six finalists will be invited to Buxton to be presented with their awards and the winner will also be announced. The presentations will be made by a specially invited Celebrity.

After what promises to be a delicious luncheon, the finalist of the Pets As Therapy Show Dog of the Year will be judged by a very well known all round judge and the dog awarded this title together with the runner will be presented with their awards. These dogs will all be winners of the Pets As Therapy Stakes classes which are being scheduled by Championship and Open Shows throughout the UK during 2006. Also during this event presentations will be made to two people who have raised the most funds in the PAWS AND TRAINERS SPONSORED WALKS initiative.
The hotel is situated close to the centre of Buxton and lends itself wonderfully to the event. Those who attended the event last year said what a lovely day they had enjoyed.
