ALPHA Feeds are delighted with the success of their premier British Agility Association (BAA) event – the first of a series of shows sponsored by the North Nottinghamshire company.
Despite the cold, wet weather there was an excellent turnout at the Asfordby Amateur Sports Club venue near Melton Mowbray.
Over the two-day event more than 40 classes were held ranging from introductory and junior, power and speed, novice to veteran.
Winners were each provided with a bag of food from the Alpha range, which is proving hugely popular with agility competitors.
Ryck Turner, Managing Director of Alpha Feeds said: ‘I was very impressed with the excellent organisation of the show, the set up was great and everyone at Alpha was delighted to support the event.’
‘Agility is becoming more and more popular and watching the competitors was great fun. We are looking forward to an excellent season’s sponsorship of the BAA.’
‘Agility dogs need to be very fit and have a requirement for higher energy feed which is why the Alpha range will play a huge part in helping them to be ready to compete at their very best.’
June Bass of the British Agility Association said: ‘We are very pleased to have the support from Alpha Feeds.’
‘The competitors were delighted to receive their bags of food, extra prizes are always well received.’
The Alpha range includes a number of recipes which have been developed for varying levels of activity, from top flight competition and racing dogs through to dogs at rest, home and play; High Performance, Racer, Field Nuggets, Sporting Dog, Original Extra, Gold, Worker Maintenance and Original.
Alpha provides dogs with a healthy, well balanced diet and uses only the highest quality natural ingredients that are sourced from local suppliers, making it 1st for performance, 1st for success.
