Manchester Dog Show Society has announced the retirement of their long standing Secretary Mr Les Lund writes Acting Secretary David Christian.

Les has been a member for some 30 years and has served the Society as secretary since 1989 following the death of the then Secretary Dick Keenan.

During his time as Secretary there have been several changes both of venues and dates and this year his work has culminated in a record entry and the Committee would like to thank him for his contribution to this and all the shows down the years.

It is intended to recognise his work by appointing Les a Vice president and honorary Life member. We wish him success in his retirement.
