Irish Kennel Club President Mr Sean Delmar recently appeared on Ireland’s top breakfast television programme, TV AM on the TV3 station to highlight the situation regarding the Minister for the Environment, Mr Dick Roche’s failure to implement the recommendations of the Working group, set up by him, to address the issue of puppy farms in Ireland.

Mr Delmar stressed the importance of the implementation of the comprehensive recommendations which he said were vital in improving the situation for dogs in general in Ireland.

He is pictured here with TV Personality of the Year and TV AM anchorman, Mark Cagney, presenter Alan Hughes and Eurovision Song Contest winner Linda Martin who is a constant campaigner for canine welfare in Ireland. Helping with proceedings were John and Kathleen Kelly’s Irish Wolfhound Lazy Bones of Nutstown and Trudy Walsh’s Irish Red Setter Ardbraccan Insignia.
