Police are appealing for information after a dog was stolen from the back garden of a house on Elmgrove Road, Fishponds, Bristol.

The dog, a Sharpei, was reported missing by a friend of the owner who had been feeding the dog while the owner was on holiday. When the friend went to feed the dog on Sunday May 7 2005 he noticed the dog missing and a fence panel held in place by two concrete blocks, moved.

The dog is worth between £700 and £1000. It is around five months old and is light brown with a little black spot around his nose.
