Dogs from 40 countries compete for the European Winner Title


About 10,000 dogs from 40 countries are participating for the European Winner 2006 Dog Show arranged by the Finnish Kennel Club. The European Winner show is held in Helsinki Fair Centre on 9th to 11th June.

The Finnish Kennel Club is arranging its second big international event within six months. Dogs representing a total of 300 breeds are participating. Over 4,200 of the entries are from abroad. The second-largest group after the Finnish dogs are Russian dogs: about 2,100 of them.

The other large groups are Swedish (450), Estonian (230), Italian (210), and Latvian (150) dogs. About 50,000 visitors are expected.

Ticket Prices
The ticket prices for the show weekend are: One-day children’s ticket (5 to 12years) 7 Euro, adults 15 Euro. One-day family ticket for two adults and children, 30 Euro. All-inclusive ticket for the event, 25 Euro.
