Hound dogs go to the Opera

For one night only The Dogs’ Home, Battersea in association with the European Chamber Opera, presents Madama Butterfly, with guest doggy appearances - a compelling story of romance and tragedy not to be missed.

Taking place at the Royal Geographic Society, SW7 on Thursday 22 June, all proceeds from the Opera will go towards caring for the unwanted animals in the Home.

The beautiful gardens of the Royal Geographical Society offer an idyllic setting; guests can take a walk in the beautiful grounds and even pre-order a scrumptious evening picnic ready for them on arrival, a perfect romantic gesture. This year two fabulous kimonos designed and handcrafted by Art Design by Hiroaki Omote will be featured during the performance.

At £40 each, tickets can be ordered by calling 0870 890 0000. Alternatively, send a cheque, made payable to ‘Battersea Dogs’ & Cats’ Home’, to: The Fundraising Office, Battersea Dogs’ & Cats’ Home, 4 Battersea Park Road, London SW8 4AA.
