A BLACK Labrador has become the UK’s first specially trained hearing dog for children, and this week has been introduced to her new owner.

Ten-year-old is completely deaf, but from now on she will have two-year-old Cara by her side. It is hoped that if Chloe and Cara work well together more deaf children will benefit from hearing dogs in the future.
