Competition a runaway success
Winners of the competition: Priory Veterinary Surgery in Reigate for their inside display
and Acorn Veterinary Surgery in Hangleton for the window display category.
Following the success of the 2005 'Fear of Fireworks' Competition, CEVA Animal Health is delighted to announce that the 2006 competition launched in September was an even greater success.
With over 200 entries in just two months, CEVA had a hard time picking a winner. Open to all veterinary practices across the UK, the competition invited practices to create a display that would generate awareness amongst their clients about how the fireworks season affects their pets.
This year’s winning practices are Acorn Veterinary Surgery in Hangleton for the window display category and Priory Veterinary Surgery in Reigate for their inside display. Both practices have won £400 worth of high street shopping vouchers for the staff that helped to create the winning displays. Natalie Jayne King from Priory Veterinary Surgery said that 'the display she created helped to draw attention and make clients aware that there are products available to help with Firework Fear'.
There were also six runners up practices that each received £100 worth of vouchers:
Westmorland Veterinary Group in Kendal, Bay Veterinary Group in Cumbria, Milan Veterinary Practice in Isle of Man, Pet Doctors in Surrey, Bridgefoot Veterinary Centre in Warrington and Swayne & Partners in Bury St Edmunds.
CEVA are overwhelmed with the response to their Fear of Firework Campaign this year and would like to thank all the practices that took part in the competition.
CEVA are also running a Fear of Fireworks special offer on their DAP & FELIWAY products. This offer is still available for practices until 31st December 2006.
