Leeds ready for the BDGA Championships

Don’t miss the 25th British Dog Grooming Championships, taking place at mypetstop in Tingley, Leeds on Sunday 22 October. More than 50 groomers in the industry will compete to earn the coveted titles ‘Groomer of the Year’ and ‘Newcomer of the Year’.

Special guest Jack Pask will be attending the show, who at 95 years of age, is believed to be the oldest ex-dog groomer in the UK. Mr Pask was also an original member of the Pet Trade Association, since evolved into the Pet Care Trust.

The Championships are growing in size and popularity every year. Organised by the BDGA, part of the Pet Care Trust, the event will offer visitors a programme of seminars, demonstrations and trade stands to attend.

The competition will be judged by three top British professionals: Diana North, Kitty Cook and Phil Davies.

Sure to be a fun day out for all the family, the event is open to the public as well as professionals in the industry. Tickets on the door are £5.00 show only / £10.00 to include access to all seminars.
