Hounds celebrated

Hound packs were once again a feature of the Chatsworth Country Fair which this year celebrated 25 years at the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire’s Derbyshire estate.

The grand ring display included the Staindale Bloodhounds, the Dove Valley Mink Hounds, the Barlow Hounds, the South Notts Hunt, the Four Shires Bloodhounds, the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Beagles which had displayed at the event at all 25 shows, Mr Elliott’s Harriers, the Grove & Rufford Hunt, the Holme Valley Beagles and the High Peak Harriers.

The event suffered heavy rain on the first day but brighter, showery conditions on the second day.
