‘Forgotten’ dogs wanted

Following their very successful publicity campaign held during the summer, drawing the nation’s attention to the plight of many of Britain's ‘forgotten’ historic dog breeds, the British & Irish Dog Breeds Preservation Trust are looking for volunteer owners of Vulnerable Native Breeds to assist with on going press, media and static display assignments.

If you own one of the breeds on the Kennel Clubs official "Vulnerable" list and are willing to give some of your time to help promote your breed, then the "Trust" would like to hear from you. We are looking for owners and dogs in all parts of the UK. Your dogs need to be smartly turned out, sociable with both dogs and people and "media friendly"!

The Trust is looking for owners with the following breeds: English Toy Terrier (Black & Tan), King Charles Spaniel, Smooth Collie, Lancashire Heeler, Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Bloodhound, Deerhound, Otterhound, Irish Red & White Setter, Curly Coated Retriever, Clumber Spaniel, Field Spaniel, Irish Water Spaniel, Sussex Spaniel, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Smooth Fox Terrier, Glen of Imaal Terrier, Irish Terrier, Kerry Blue Terrier, Lakeland Terrier, Manchester Terrier, Mini Bull Terriers, Norwich Terrier, Sealyham Terrier, Skye Terrier, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Welsh Terrier.
