Debbie Parkhurst was eating the fruit when a piece became stuck in her throat; despite pounding on her chest she was unable to dislodge it.

Goldie Toby jumped on Debbie’s chest in what she is convinced was a canine Heimlich Manoeuvre, dislodging the piece of apple and licking her face to keep her conscious.
