A HUGELY successful Companion Dog Show which last year raised more than £1,500 for charity is to take place again this summer.

The event takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 27th at The Pavilions in Essington, near Walsall.

This year the charities to benefit from the show include the Animal Health Trust once again, as well as Hearing Dogs For Deaf People.

The event is organised by Yvonne Cox who decided to hold the show to raise funds for the AHT after losing her three year old dog Twilly to cancer.

"Cancer affects one in four dogs we can all help in the fight,” explains Yvonne. The show, supported by Alpha Feeds, will open at 11am will judging starting at 12 noon.
