Guide Dogs has announced the winner of the top dog prize in its Puppy Love photographic competition. Aimee Palin, aged 11, from Seaham, County Durham will accompany Magic and presenter Andy Akinwolere to the Blue Peter studio at BBC Television Centre in London, to see Blue Peter broadcast live.

The creative photographic competition attracted over 100 entries from children all over the UK, who sent in their most adorable, cutest, funniest or silliest picture of their puppy or dog for the chance to win the fantastic prize!

Aimee’s winning picture of guide dog puppy Autumn, looking mischievous but adorable peeping out of an empty plant pot, is featured on Guide Dogs’ Meet the Family website. Autumn is being puppy walked for the charity by Aimee’s family. The special Meet the Family website is dedicated to the charity’s partnership with Blue Peter.
