Dogs’ home seeks sponsors

A DOG rehoming sanctuary in Northamptonshire is appealing to the public to sponsor four sick dogs in its care who are expected to cost the charity £2,500 in vets' bills.

Maxicare is looking for financial support and donations of special foods and treats for Suzie, who has an inoperable mass in her chest, Brian, who has an aggressive form of cancer, Bungle, who has serious stomach problems, and Carla, who is undergoing treatment on her ears.
