Dog trapped

A fire crew called to a Devon shopping centre found a small dog which had got stuck in an escalator. They released the terrier’s paw by slowly winding the escalator in the opposite direction and using small tools. A veterinary nurse who happened to be nearby bandaged the dog's paw and its owner then took it to a vet.
