Nick Hammond steps down

At the final Ard Chomhairle Meeting of the IKC for 2007, held on 14th December at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the Chairman of The General Purposes Committee, Mr. Nicholas Hammond, informed the meeting that he would not be seeking re-election to the Committee for the coming year.

Nick has been a member of the committee for the past seven years, and chairman for the past four years. He thanked the members of An Ard Chomhairle for their support, and the comradeship extended to him over the years. He will continue to serve on An Ard Chomhairle as the representative of Dun Laoghaire Canine Society. He wished the Irish Kennel Club, and the incoming General Purposes Committee every success for the future. The President, Mr. Sean Delmar, thanked Mr. Hammond for his years of service and extended him the best wishes of An Ard Chomhairle for the future.
