Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton is preparing for motherhood by caring for a new puppy. The 31 year old who last month announced she is expecting her first child, has been given a chocolate Labrador by her boyfriend Jade Jones.

Ms Bunton said: ‘As I’m going to be spending a lot more time at home, we thought now would be a good time to get a dog. I guess its a good trial run for the baby’.
