THE CLOSING date for entries to the Scottish Kennel Club Show Dog of the Year 2006, to be held at MacRobert Pavilion, Royal Highland Showground, Ingliston Edinburgh on Thursday 17th May 2007 has been extended to Friday March 2.

Executive Council have amended the criteria for qualifying for this event to the following: Number of Dogs: 30

A representative from the RARE BREEDS will now be eligible to compete at this event.

Criteria for eligibility as follows - Winning either Best Dog or Best Bitch either from the Breed Class, Rare Breed Class or Not Separately Classified will qualify for ONE point. In the event of a tie then the dog gaining Best of Breed, Best Rare Breed or Best NSC will gain a further point.
