It is with great sadness that we inform you that after a short illness the Hungarian Viszla breed record holder Sh Ch Kazval Keats passed away just before Christmas, on what was a very sad day for myself the breeder, Mrs K Armstrong owner and Mr M Armstrong handler.

During his terrific show career, ‘Keats’ achieved countless successes including 42 Challenge Certificates under 40 different judges, five Championship show group wins as well as many group placings; he was Top puppy in 1997 gaining his title in 1998, Top Vizsla 1999, 2000 and 2001.

In addition he took BIS awards at Darlington and Gundog Society of Wales, Res BIS at Paignton, was twice BOB at Crufts and was Leicester Gundog Top Gundog of the Year.

I am both proud and privileged that this dog has been part of my life and take some comfort from still having his dam going strong at almost 14 years.
