Overall winner at the Northern England Flatcoated Retriever Association Pup of the Year 2006 final held on January 14th at the Quality Hotel, Penkridge, Stafford was Mrs Wright's dog Lakemere Moonlight Shadow JW. The event was supported by Royal Canin, Dalsetter, Fosse Data Systems, their President Mr Peter Forster and Miss Becky Johnson

Next year the association which was founded in 1996 enjoys championship status
