Dogs are no longer just man’s best friend! Figures suggest that man’s best friend has in fact turned into woman’s best friend! In a survey carried out at Discover Dogs 2006, it was revealed that more women than men feel they have a closer bond with their pet and are more likely to believe that they would be lost without their dog.

Respondents who owned dogs revealed that they could not imagine a time when they would not have a dog and 84% of respondents, both men and women, agreed that their dog is part of the family.
