OUR DOGS was at the forefront of the recent 10k run in Manchester where our representative Richard Simister managed a great time and also pulled in nearly £1000 to date for the Manchester based cancer hospital Christies.

Richard had every reason to support the charity not only because his own dad was successfully treated there, but also he is a personal friend of Vince and Jo Hogan; as many Our Dogs readers know, Jo also had extensive treatment at the hospital over the last year and we were delighted that Richard put himself through the pain barrier for such a worthy cause.

Mind you, we are a bit suspicious of the sign on the right, advertising full English breakfasts! Clearly not ideal preparation for the race!
