Dog fighter guilty

A man who turned a terrace house into a training centre for vicious fighting dogs is due to be sentenced next month.

Nasar Khan, 25, of Blackburn, pleaded guilty to training illegal pit bull terriers on treadmills and feeding them muscle building tablets.

Police raided the house belonging to Khan and seized the nine unlicensed dogs after one escaped and was found roaming the streets.

Khan will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court in July.
