Dogs sold in pubs

More than 50 dogs have been stolen from outside Sainsbury's in Brighton this year, says a leading animal welfare organisation. Drug addicts are taking the dogs and selling them in nearby pubs to raise cash for their next fix, claims DogLost.co.uk, a lost pet agency. Among top targets are Staffordshire bull terriers which experts said are being regularly stolen in Brighton and sold for up to A350 a time.
