Terry Thorn sends his heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kind messages and cards concerning his illness. He says he is overwhelmed by the numbers of people who have expressed their concern. Terry remarks that it is marvellous to see how people in the sport rally round in the time of need.

Terry was being readmitted to hospital on Friday 23rd February and will undergo an operation in a specialist lung unit. He hopes to be back home sometime the following week.

Terry has now cancelled all appointments through until the end of April but God willing he will be back in the centre of the ring in time for Birmingham National in May.
