The British Kennel & Cattery Association (BKCA), a new organisation which acts as a voice for the kennel and cattery sector by providing information and support, will be officially launched at this year’s Crufts. The BKCA is linked to the Pet Care Trust, the national charity that promotes the benefits of responsible pet ownership, pet care education and training.
The BKCA is keen to recruit caring and dynamic boarding kennels and catteries into membership, and will be offering prizes, giveaways and even a 20% discount off the first year’s membership for those who sign up at Crufts. Visit the Pet Care Trust in Hall 4 stand 10 to find out more and help celebrate the launch.
The Trust already has over 120 members in the kennel and cattery sector, and these businesses will automatically become members of BKCA too. It is anticipated that the new association and the benefits on offer will bring in new members who are keen to network, raise standards and share best practice across the sector. Members are seen as the best in the industry, subscribing to the BKCA code of practice to ensure the highest standards. The public are encouraged to look for the BKCA logo to ensure they use a high quality, caring business.
