Crufts 2007 takes off!

CRUFTS 2007 was launched in customary style on Tuesday 27th February, in Green Park, Off Piccadilly, opposite the Kennel Club’s Clarges Street headquarters, with the help of BBC Crufts presenter Matt Baker (pictured).

From the 8th – 11th March 2007 the Kennel Club will be staging the ‘Greatest Dog Show in the World’ – Crufts, at the NEC Birmingham. Make sure you come along when the Kennel Club arranges the National Press Launch of Crufts in Green Park just off Piccadilly on Tuesday 27 February 2007 at 10.30am.

Crufts 2007 is set to be even bigger than ever before. Bursting at the seams of the NEC, the Arena will now be used to showcase a fantastic new dog display programme. This year’s Crufts will welcome over 24,000 dogs and 140,000 visitors from all over the world, where the best dogs on the planet will be competing for the prestigious title, Best in Show.

Since 1950 Crufts has enjoyed a strong partnership with the BBC and the popularity of the TV coverage grows each year with last year receiving over 11 million viewers. Crufts presenter Matt Baker will be at this year’s launch to help celebrate the great British tradition of dog ownership and the relationship between two prestigious British institutions.
