ISLE OF MAN: The hunt is still on to find the killers of a Labrador found dead at Sulby Reservoir in the Isle of Man recently.
The chocolate dog was found at the water's edge, its muzzle and legs had been bound together with duct tape before it was thrown 30 feet down the embankment. A post mortem revealed the animal was fit and healthy and between two and three years old at the time.
Police have described the mistreatment of the dog as 'barbaric and callous'. A force spokesman said they had had a good response from the public, but have not been able to identify the dog or its owners and inquiries are continuing.
The attack sparked public outcry and a substantial reward is being offered for information.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey police on 812234.
