A DOG was given the kiss of life by a veterinary nurse after being run over by a car. Sasha, a two-year-old Staffie,, stopped breathing during an operation to repair her collapsed lung.

However, a PDSA nurse twice managed to resuscitate Sasha with mouth-to-mouth. Sasha is now back with her owner Mark Warden in Leicester.
