It is with regret I have to announce the death of Mrs L Ellis of Merrymorn Poodles in the early hours of Monday 23rd April 2007.

Jill as she was known was a founder member of The British Toy Poodle Club and served on the committee from the beginning of the Club (50 years). She also was Patron of the Club.

Jill also was elected to the Committee of the International Poodle Club in 1962 rising to Vice Chairman in 1970 and Chairman in 1977 a position she held until 2006.

She will be sorely missed and very fondly remembered by her many friends of the Poodle fraternity. Our condolences go to her family at this time.
