Couple in A43 ruling

AT A recent KC Disciplinary Rule A43 case, husband and wife Ian and Morag Jackson of New Byth Turriff were found contravention of the Protection of Animals (Scotland) Act 1912.

The pair were warned as to their future conduct, censured, suspended from attending KC licensed events, disqualified from becoming members of any registered canine clubs, acting as committee members or judging at any KC registered event.

The couple have also been disqualified from registration and/or competition any or all dogs and/or progeny of such dogs which are owned and/or registered by them (whether or not jointly owned and/or whether or not owned and/or registered in the name of a nominee.

The suspensions and disqualifications are to be for a period of five years.
