Gordon Setters gained a new dog CC record holder at Birmingham over the weekend when Margo Cowe awarded Sh Ch/It Ch/Int Ch Caballus Ebonie Adonis his 33rd CC, all from different judges.

Antti' was born in Finland by Tina Illuka in Finland in April 1999, sired by the UK bred Multi Ch Shannas Journalist out of an Australian bitch, Trisetter Ebonie Nerissa and then went to live in Italy with Michele & Ludovica Ivaldi. He came to the UK in 2002 where he won his first CC from Maureen Justice at National Gundog and added a further three CCs before he returning in November to Italy.

In 2003 he returned to the UK to continue residence with his handler, Frances Boxall, Laurelhach Gordon Setters, where he has and will remain at her home in Surrey.

During the last 4 years Antti has not only won 33 CCs but in 2003 he won the Gundog Group at Bath and end that year as Top Gordon Setter. He has also many other group placing and three breed club BIS awards. A truly International Gordon.

The undisputed overall breed record holder is the homebred bitch, Sh Ch Liric High Society with 48 CCs but the previous dog record holder was Sh Ch Carek Bronze Clansman, who had held this title since the 1980s.
