Animal Welfare Legislation

The Animal Welfare Act came into force in England in April 2007. The Kennel Club welcomes the duty of care clause, exemptions from the docking ban, and the tougher dog fighting legislation. However it remains very concerned by the clauses relating to the showing of docked dogs.
