The Kennel Club Annual Report 2006/07
Championship Status

The first new General Championship Show in over thirty years, held by the Boston and District Canine Society, took place in January 2007. Eight sets of Challenge Certificates were on offer and the show attracted almost 2,500 dogs.

One further breed, the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, was awarded Championship status from 2008.
