The Judges Sub-Committee’s main activities remain the consideration of questionnaires from judges nominated to award Challenge Certificates at Championship Shows for the first time, A2 judging list applications and the review of evaluations. During the past year, the Committee has also been delegated authority to consider breaches of the Code of Best Practice by judges at Open Shows.
The Committee has amended the requirements for the amount of stewarding experience that prospective Challenge Certificate judges must obtain, to be based on the numbers of days rather than number of shows.
